Well I went to the mall tonight because I haven't bought clothing in almost a year. Is that normal? Is that something we guys just do? I mean, not buy clothing very often. Is that something we just do? I thought I used to buy clothing more often. Maybe as a guy, once we get stocked up, we stop buying and wear what we have. Until we get a better job that requires it or it the clothing starts to fall apart. Well what I have is starting to fall apart so I figured it was time to get more.
Someone at work commented that this behavior is normal because I am a guy (to not buy clothes that often). I guess guys don't really shop that much. If you are a guy and you shop a lot, what does that make you? Does it make you a girly guy? I don't know, nor do I care. I know guys that probably shop more than women do, and they are just trendy.
I like spending money on something important to me (which is myself :) ), but I don't get to do it very often with bills and taking care of my debts, not to mention the girlfriend.
I am just about to pay off my last credit card and that makes me happy. So I thought I would take myself out and do something nice for me. I think it's important to do something nice for yourself once in awhile. It especially a great idea to reward yourself in some way when you meet your goals.
